Being volunteer means having great willingness to bestow. Whether it is to help someone directly, be it to get involved for a cause, or just to plant a flower, the volunteer will always be present.
Santa Claus is Coming
Students of the Volunteer School School visit a family , and give gifts to the children. Goals of the activity:
To help people with a precarious material situation;
Education in the spirit of voluntarism.
My Little Garden
Each child received 2 or 3 kits of sowing. On the bench they prepared a plastic saucer on which they laid the pill. Over the course of several days, students have provided the seeds with all the conditions for them to grow: water, light, warmth. Goals of the activity:
To form the skills to sow and give the plant all the necessary conditions for growth;
To develop the socio-emotional ability to work individually;
To practic creativity by making the necessary labels for their plants.
The Violation of Human Rights In the Dictatorship
The volunteers from the Scoala Gimnaziala Ion Creanga, Satu Mare, Romania, visited the Memorial of the Victims of Communism in Sighet . The horrors of the past teach us that intolerance and dictatorship in extreme forms often turn into genocide. Goals of the activity:
To identify examples of human rights violations;
To know the consequences of violations of human rights;
To recognize elements of a dictatorship.
Waste Collecting
A serious problem with the environment is the huge amount of waste. That is why the focus is on collecting them for recycling. The school's volunteers participate in this action. Goals of the activity:
The selective collection of waste;
The awareness of waste issues;
Responsibility for environmental protection.
The Recycling Maze
Volunteers participate in the Ecological Education Project "The Recycling Maze". The labyrinth will be built of plastic bottle walls on an area of 1.5 hectares. Also from the bottles will be built a 150-meter-long bridge in the Odoreu commune, on a dead arm of the Somes river. Goals of the activity:
To promote the selective collection of recyclable waste;
The waste recovery by voluntarily realizing the "The Recycling Maze" within the Kentaur Recreation Center in Atea;
The realization of a small bridge and pontoon within the project, "Green corridor without frontiers”
Flowers for Our School
Volunteers work carefully to embellish the courtyard of the school. The flowers planted by them will enchant the eyes of the passers-by. Goals of the activity:
To form the skills to sow the plant;
To develop the socio-emotional ability to work in a team;
To practic creativity by making floral arrangements .
A Helping Hand Is Allways Welcome
One afternoon, our students went to the Friendship House to help the children to do their homeworks. After the hard work, they have played together. Goals of the activity:
To help peers to do their homework;
To increase empathy towards institutionalized children;
To develop social skills.
The Living Library Preparation
Everyone prepares for the great event. With the help of the junior volunteers, all will be ready in time. Goals of the activity:
To prepare the Living Library event.

After a hot summer, it's time to inaugurate the maze. Our volunteers were present as big contributor with a lot of plastic bottles. Goals of the activity:

The Autumn in Dishes
In the middle of the autumn, students and parents gathered at the picnic wich was organized in the school yard. The volunteers, together with their colleagues, prepared autumn's specific menus and collected many fruits which were then donated to institutionalized children. Goals of the activity: 1. Education in the spirit of voluntarism; 2. Education on a healthy diet; 3.Development of social skills.
Visiting our Friends
The school volunteers paid a new visit to Micula, to bring supplies, backpacks and various tools. As usual, they were greeted with great joy by their little friends who greatly appreciated the gifts of their colleagues. Goals of the activity: 1.Cultivating an attitude of helping disadvantaged people; 2.Strengthening social cohesion.
Open Day
The little volunteers participated in the Open Day organized at the Alexandra Family House in Amati. Here our students drew and made together with the children from the house, a lot of colorful posters. Then they participated in a short art program offered by their little friends. Goals of the activity: 1.Cultivating an attitude of helping disadvantaged people; 2.Education in the spirit of volunteering; 3.Development of communication skills.
Fruits' Week
During Fruits' Week, the junior volunteers collected fruit again to give to poor children.The sweet gift was accompanied by some drawings that our students made with pleasure. Goals of the activity: 1.To provide support to children in need; 2. To encourage fruit consumption; 3. To develop artistic skills.
Waiting for Christmas
The juniors from the Volunteer Club prepared properly for Christmas. They made illustrations with Christmas wishes together with the children from the kindergarten, they prepared an artistic program and offered gifts to other children. And for Christmas, they went caroling as usual. Goals of the activity: 1.To cultivate the altruism; 2.Development of social skills; 3.To cultivate local traditions.
The Fair
Every year, the arrival of the calendar spring is celebrated on March 1. On this occasion, girls and women wear "martisoare", which are figurines attached with a white and red thread. This year the students made martisoare for the fair that was organized for charity. The sums obtained from the sale of martisoaras were donated to associations for child protection activities. Goals of activity: 1.To support the activity of the associations that deal with the child's upbringing; 2.To encourage students to participate in charitable actions; 3.To stimulate students' creativity.
Everything Will Be Ok!
As a result of the situation created by the pandemic, volunteer activities were also stopped. But that did not stop the volunteers from expressing themselves in an artistic way, the hope that everything will end well and life will resume its normal course. Goals of the activity: 1.To cultivate a positive and optimistic attitude; 2.To stimulate the feeling of social responsibility; 3.To develop social skills.
