The project coordinators , Tamara Jovicic and Dragana Benic, held an informative meeting for school staff on October 5, 2018 in the primary school "Kosta Trifkovic", Novi Sad.
Tamara Jovicic presented the Erasmus + program, the possibilities of schools from Serbia and the Foundation Tempus as an organization implementing the Erasmus + program in Serbia. She also presented the Living Library method, its goals and the impact on society.
Dragana Benic presented the goals and planned activities of the project, its timeframe, partners, as well as the opportunities and obligations of the participants in the project. She also presented the criteria stated in the project application, according to which the project participants will be selected and invited colleagues to send applications and become part of our project team.
The first meeting of the project team
The selected members of the project team are: Tamara Jovicic - coordinator, Dragana Benic - coordinator, Natasa Micic, Jovanka Simic Jovisevic, Ivana Inic, Snezana Rodic, Nada Susak and Mirjana Radojicic. The first meeting discussed the expectations and fears related to the implementation of the project, the rules of work were established in the team and tasks are assigned to team members. Coordinators presented upcoming project activities - an internal short seminar on a living library, the selection of pupils and the first activities of the Volunteer Club, transnational coordination meeting in Serbia, training in Slovenia etc.
Erasmus+ info day in Novi Sad
Within the Erasmus + week, an information day was held in the Rectorate in Novi Sad on October 31, 2018 during which representatives of the Fondacija Tempus Srbija introduced the attendees with the possibilities of Serbia's participation in the call deadline for 2019. Institutions from Serbia will be able to participate fully in all parts of the Erasmus + program, as coordinators or partners, for this first time. This meeting was attended by members of our project team Dragan Benić, Ivana Inić, Jovanka Simic Jovišević and Nada Šušak. Our colleague Danka Džepina had the honor to present, as an example of good practice, Erasmus + KA2 strategic partnerships project which our school implemented last school year. Members of our team took the opportunity to exchange experiences with colleagues from other schools who also implement Erasmus + projects

Commissioner for Protection of Equality
Coordinators of the project Dragana Benic and Tamara Jovicic on 17 april 2019 have met with advisers of Commissioner for Protection of Equality in Belgrade who is supporting us in Living Library implementation.

Training "Ka kvalitetnim eTwinning projektima u cilju unapređenja korišćenja IKT-a u nastavi"
Project team members, Ivana Inic and Dragana Benic, June 7, 2019. attended the seminar "Towards quality eTwinning projects to improve the use of ICT in teaching", in Belgrade, organized by the Fondacija Tempus . The aim of the seminar is to improve the quality of existing eTwinning projects in order to make better use of ICT in teaching, as well as to strengthen the digital and linguistic competences of teachers and students. In this seminar, teachers were introduced to ways in which eTwinning projects could be launched, how to integrate into teaching and how to use ICT in teaching. Specific ICT tools and ways in which they can be applied to teaching units are presented.
Training course "Art for Balanced and Cultural Diversity"
Tamara Jovicic, teacher from elementary school Kosta Trifkovic and Maja Moskerc, youth worker from Slomo - društvo za trajnostni razvoj participated in training course "Art for Balanced and Cultural Diversity" in Antwerp, Belgium, 22. 7. - 28. 7. 2019, together with teachers from all across Europe, spreading the voices and spirit of Living Library.

Blended mobility in Romania - presentation at the Teachers' Council
Teachers Dragana Benić and Mirjana Radojičić informed the members of the Teachers' Council about the mobility of a group of seven students in Satu Mare, Romania, where they were guests of their peers from the "Jon Creanga" school. The presentation was followed by a PowerPoint presentation.

Dragana Benić, a history teacher and the project coordinator together with Jelena Dimić, the student and a member of the Volunteer Club, were guests on Novosadska TV where they talked about the project and announced the second Living Library in our school.
